Well we have been a bit quiet on the Internet over the last few months but that doesn’t mean that nothing has been happening.
We have just set the dates for the 2013 Walkatjurra Walkabout for the 4th – 28th of May and it looks like being even bigger than last years walk.
The walk will continue to be a celebration of Wangkatja country, a testament to the strength of the community who have fought to stop uranium mining at Yeelirrie for over forty years, and a chance to come together and continue to share our commitment to a sustainable future without nuclear. It is a chance to reconnect with the land, and to revive the tradition of walking for country.
