The Walking for Country doco made by Rez Nez films has just been nominated for Best Short Foreign Documentary at the TMC London Film Festival and we will be doing a couple of special private screenings in Denmark and Balingup in the coming weeks.. More info below…
With the Walkatjurra Walkabout starting in just over three weeks we are on a mad mission buying food and equipment for this years walk.. If you can’t come to the events that are coming up but would like to financially the Walkatjurra Walkabout then you can make a tax deductible donation.. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will go towards supporting Aboriginal people to come on the walk and will also help us to purchase some of the much needed equipment.

The bus will be leaving Perth on the 7th of August (Early in the morning!!)
We will be meeting in Kalgoorlie on the 7th of August if you want to join us there. We will be camping the night in Kalgoorlie at the Wongutha Birni Cultural Centre, and then driving up to Wiluna on the morning of the 8th of August. Our first walking day will be on the 11th August.
Come and join members of the Walkatjurra Walkabout team for a sneak, private viewing of the documentary “Walking for Country”, hear stories of the walks, and get updated on the curent status of the Anti-Uranium Mining campaign in Western Australia.
